This program is designed for children 10-12 and offers a fun, educational introduction to fitness. Held after school twice weekly for 45 minutes, this program guides young participants through the use of various fitness equipment. such as dumbbell’s resistance bands, step platforms, barbells and cardio machines. Participants will learn about muscle groups, gym etiquette, respect for personal space, and proper lifting form. With increasingly challenging workouts, the goal is to help youth improve mobility, build strength, enhance cardio health and establish lifelong fitness habits.

TIME: Group 1 – Mondays 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm
Wednesdays 2:30 pm – 3:15 pm
Group 2 – Mondays 4:15 pm – 5 pm
Wednesdays 3:15 pm – 4 pm
LOCATION: Turf Room
FEE: $30 Y-Member; $80 Non-member
